Best Surgery Books

The biggest question when you start your Surgery residency is to know which are the best books to read during the busy period of one's surgical residency. Surgery residency is one of the most exhilarating phases of every surgeons’ life. Negotiating a residency requires a great deal of courage, hard work, diplomacy, and skill. We have always enjoyed interacting with surgical residents and one of the first questions the young resident who enters surgery asks us is “ How do I study during residency?” and "Which Books to read?" There is an endless number of Textbooks for Surgery and books for surgery MCQs making you confused over the choice for the best ones? Some books are best suited for clinical examinations, while others give you knowledge about operative surgery and others serve a more general purpose of building concepts in surgery. Best Surgery textbooks, we believe will be the ones, which are easy to read, remember and incorporate in clinical practice. What makes a book great is the number of years it has been running. Many surgery books are such that even our teacher’s teachers also had the same book. The contents must be lucid, crisp, and precise. The book is easy to read and every time you read it, you should read it to build your concepts. Here at World Surgery Forum, we keep bringing to you the guidance on which Surgery Books you should prefer for specific exams and for specific requirements. Check out our recommended book suggestions in the posts below.
