After completing MRCS can I do specialist training in Opthamology or do I have to restrict myself to general surgery?
Also, after MRCS when can I take FRCS opth?

Opthalomology has a separate set of exams. After MRCS you can opt for following:
- General Surgery Fellowships
- Neurosurgery Fellowships
- Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Fellowships
- Otolaryngology Fellowships
- Paediatric Surgery Fellowships
- Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowships
- Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowships
- Urology Fellowships
